<span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><p><img src="https://www.beniculturali.unipd.it/www/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Frammenti-1.jpg" alt="" width="100%" style="margin-bottom: 20px"class="allineamento-immagine"/>È aperta la call for papers per il VI Convegno del Corso di Dottorato in Storia, Critica e Conservazione dei Beni Culturali dell’Università di Padova, dal titolo <em>Frammenti. Scomporre e ricomporre il patrimonio culturale materiale e immateriale,</em> che si terrà a Padova (Palazzo Bo) nei giorni 10–11 dicembre 2026.</p>
<p>Il convegno si propone di indagare il tema del frammento come oggetto, metodo e principio compositivo nei diversi ambiti del patrimonio culturale, materiale e immateriale. Inteso tanto come traccia del passato quanto come elemento dinamico e generativo, il frammento sarà esplorato nelle sue molteplici declinazioni disciplinari, dall’archeologia alla storia dell’arte, dall’architettura agli studi sul cinema, la musica e lo spettacolo.</p>
<p>Si invitano dottorande e dottorandi afferenti a istituzioni italiane e internazionali a presentare contributi coerenti con il tema proposto. Tra le principali linee di ricerca:</p>
<ul>
<li>ricostruzioni e restituzioni di opere e contesti;</li>
<li>il frammento come fonte storica;</li>
<li>il frammento come principio compositivo;</li>
<li>pratiche di scomposizione e analisi dei contesti;</li>
<li>processi di frammentazione, riscrittura e ridefinizione del patrimonio.</li>
</ul>
<p>Le proposte (abstract in italiano o inglese, max. 350 parole, corredato da titolo, parole chiave e breve bio) dovranno essere inviate entro il 14 giugno 2026 all’indirizzo: <a href="mailto:convegnodottorale2026.dbc@unipd.it">convegnodottorale2026.dbc@unipd.it</a>.</p>

<p>The PhD Programme in History, Criticism and Conservation of Cultural Heritage at the University of Padua announces the 6th Doctoral Conference, <em>Fragments. Deconstructing and Reconstructing Tangible and Intangible Cultural Heritage</em>, to be held in Padua (Palazzo Bo) on 10–11 December 2026.</p>
<p>The conference aims to investigate the notion of the fragment as object, method, and compositional principle across different areas of cultural heritage studies. Fragments may be understood both as remnants of the past and as dynamic elements capable of generating new meanings and contexts. Contributions are invited from a wide range of disciplines, including archaeology, art history, architectural history, film, music, and performance studies.</p>
<p>Possible topics include (but are not limited to):</p>
<ul>
<li>reconstruction practices and restitutions of lost or incomplete works;</li>
<li>fragments as historical sources;</li>
<li>fragmentation as an aesthetic and compositional principle;</li>
<li>analytical approaches based on decomposition and transformation;</li>
<li>processes of fragmentation, recontextualisation, and rewriting of cultural heritage.</li>
</ul>
<p>The call is open to PhD candidates from Italian and international institutions.</p>
<p>Submission guidelines:<br />
Proposals must include:</p>
<ul>
<li>name and affiliation</li>
<li>title of the paper</li>
<li>abstract (max. 350 words, in English or Italian)</li>
<li>5 keywords</li>
<li>short bio (max. 150 words)</li>
</ul>
